William Strobel was raised on a ranch in Bondurant, Wyoming. He graduated from Jackson-Wilson High School in 1962 in Jackson, Wyoming. In the fall of 1962, he joined the US Navy and was there until 1966. He studied pre-veterinary medicine at the City College of San Francisco from 1966 to 1968. He then moved to Fort Collins, Colorado and attended college at Colorado State University. He received his Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science in 1974 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1976 from Colorado State University. He moved to Twin Falls, Idaho in the spring of 1976 and joined Green Acres Pets Center.
Warren Becker was raised in Carrington, North Dakota. He graduated in 1988 from Iowa University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and then moved to Idaho. He has been with Green Acres Pet Center since 1988. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors.
Jeanne Hill grew up on a dairy farm in Jerome, Idaho and has lived here ever since. She graduated from Jerome High School in 1991. She started working at Green Acres Pet Center in 1990. She is married and has a son named Hunter. Her family’s home is full of love with their four Labradors and two cats they rescued. In her spare time, Jeanne loves to bass fish and to be outdoors with her family.
Amanda is a receptionist at Green Acres Pet Center. She joined the Green Acres Pet Center team in 2004 and has lived in this area her whole life. The only children she has are the 4-legged kind. She has one dog and four cats and loves them all dearly. She enjoys working with clients and their pets and getting to see all the animals that come into the office. Amanda feels that the employees here are more than just co-workers; she considers them part of her family. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.
Traci is originally from southern California and she loves animals, especially horses. She and her family moved to Twin Falls in 1994 when she was in the middle of the third grade. She feels blessed to have joined the Green Acres Pet Center family in August of 2012, after she graduated with honors from the College of Southern Idaho in May 2010 from the Equine program and then the Veterinary Technology program in May 2012. It was hard work but some of the greatest times of her life. She received her Veterinary Technician Certification in June 2013 after sitting for the Veterinary Technician National Exam Boards. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and she loves being outdoors spending time with her two horses.
Teresa Thompson was born in Pomona, California, was raised in Salem, Oregon, and lived in Nevada before coming to Twin Falls. Teresa loves working with animals at Green Acres.
Lucy McCarty was born in the “Round-up” city; Pendleton, Oregon a few years ago and grew up on farms and ranches around the Eastern Oregon area. She lived most of my adult life in North Central Idaho where She raised a daughter and son. She moved back to Idaho in the Spring of 2017 after living near Albuquerque, New Mexico for 8 years and started working at Green Acres Pet Center. She lives on 20 acres with a couple of horses, a pair of peacocks, a pot bellied pig, chickens, 4 dogs, a small sulfate tortoise and cats. She enjoys horse back riding, archery ( shoots a long bow), playing on the river, and playing with my 6 grandchildren that all live close by.
